Bank Holiday Antics

Are you all having good Bank Holiday weekends so far? I am off work until Wednesday - cue a very happy me!

My bank holiday weekend got off to a good start as it was payday which I have been desperate for! London cleared my bank account out in the first week of the month and I have had no funds until this Friday so I did what any normal girl would do - I went shopping :)

I only had my lunch hour so I headed up to Harvey Nichols and the Mac counter. I did use up all my foundations so I decided I deserved a new one, as well as a new brush and an eyeshadow from my wishlist.

The swatches are a bit rubbish I know, but I picked up the 217 brush and the Smoke & Diamonds shadow, as well as the Studio Tech foundation - OMG, I absolutely LOVE this! So I am very pleased with my Mac purchases, if you watched my first video you will know I mentioned I wasn't happy with my first few Mac things but I am pleased to say I am with these! Speaking of You Tube Jennifer Rosellen who is so cute tagged me in a video thing about my make up bag. If you haven't already you must watch her version of this, she gets interupted by a wasp and I was laughing so much when I watched it. It seemed to backfire though as about an hour later a MASSIVE wasp came into the office and I was working alone - I was so scared of it! It stayedf there buzzing angrily until I asked my boss to get rid of it - ew they make me feel sick. OMG as well last night my Dad found a MEGA MASSIVE spider in the kitchen sink! He put it in the spider catcher and I went down to look at it but I didn't realise he had put it in the catcher thingy and was almost touching it trying to look into the sink! I screamed when I realised how close I was to it - I could have knocked the catcher over and it would have run over me arghhh I am curling my toes now I hate spiders. But back to what I was saying, I have uploaded a second video of the tag from Jennifer and it is HERE :) I have 43 subscribers already and am so chuffed! Thank you all :)

The other bits I bought in my lunch were just some bits from Sainsburys when I was getting lunch:-

This book was only £2 so I thought I would pick it up. It sounds a bit like PS I Love You in a way - the main characters Dad dies and leaves her a journal to read a new entry on each birthday. I will let you know what I thought about it when I read it!

Does anybody else love this film as much as I do? Everyone I ask says they just thought it was OK but I loved it! Maybe it is because I think Katherine Heigl is totally beautiful and Seth Rogen is so funny - I really fancy him!! This was only £2.99, was so pleased to pick it up!

I haven't actually seen this and to be honest I hate the first two people in the above picture- but my love for Michael Cera made me need it in my collection! He is so cute, I want to go out with him! Aww look at him here:

and last but not least, and this deserves the picture making large:

I never used to fancy Zac Effron until I saw this film. He is so fit I was speechless after I watched it because he is so damn gorgeous! I watched this yesterday and was exactly the same after watching it. I think it is a really good film too, aww I want to watch it again now :)

So on Friday night me and my friend Lauren went out, just to one bar in Leeds and stayed there all night. I *think* it was a good night up until the last bottle because I have a total memory block and can't remember anything.

So this is my bathroom on a good day....And in this picture the red indicates just where I managed to be sick when I got home. In other words, EVERYWHERE! Oops......sorry Mum!

So I spent my Saturday in bed recovering from that hangover! Sorry Lauren :( xxxxxxxx

We are going to see GI Joe tonight...Channing Tatum :D

Get to know me!

I was tagged by the beautiful Coco Bella in this 'Get to know me' tag and wanted to do a post tonight but have left it too late - I am too tired! So I thought I would do this instead:

1. What time did you get up this morning? My alarm went off at 7.15
2.How do you like you like your steak? Very well done!
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
The Ugly Truth ♥
4. What is your favorite TV show? Sex & The City

6. What did you have for breakfast? A sausage sandwich...I thought I would have my last one before my diet begins tomorrow!
7. What is your favorite cuisine? I am a total food addict and I love most things. I love Italian and I wish I ate more Chinese than I do!
8. What foods do you dislike? Quite a few bits..tomatoes, olives, I'm not a big meat eater so a lot of meats freak me out and I hate milk eww!
9. Favorite place to eat? Ooh I don't know!! I like a variety of places!
10. Favorite dressing? Don't really do dressings
11. What kind of vehicle do you drive? I don't...I need to learn :(
12. What are your favorite clothes? At the moment, leggings, jeggings and all that jazz, and longish tops, glads and cardis with big accessories! But I must say I LIVE in tee shirts at home and I pick them up EVERYWHERE I go..I have so many NYC ones, ones from London, Portugal, well lots of places really.
13. Where would you visit if you had the chance? I want to go to so many places in America...when I see pictures I get mixed feelings, feelings of excitment that I want to go and feelings of sadness because I want to go NOW

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share? Hmmm, its payday tomorrow and to me this is very exciting news!
26. What did you want to be when you were little? Too many things but my favourite thing to remember would be when I was obsessed with East 17 when I was 9 and I wanted to be a backing dancer for them after seeing their tour video (which I still have) - the girls wore red tight tee shirts and white baseball caps. Ahh, Tony Mortimore!
27. What is your best childhood memory? Everything, I miss being young & carefree - I AM KEEPING THIS ANSWER!
28. Are you a cat or dog person? Cat, I like them ten million times better than dogs but I am also allergic really badly to dogs and my eyes bulge out like god knows what, myy face goes bright red and really blotchy and fat and my throat tightens and it is just awful, so many people who I know have dogs and I do think some are cute but I can't even touch things they will have been around. But it really annoys me when people don't understand and think if I just don't touch the dog I will be OK - the dog has been touching the furniture in the house and just the air and OMG I am getting mad writing this so I'm going to stop - anyway, YES, cat person. lol...

40. Do anything spontaneous lately? I have made a few spontaneous decisions lately, brave ones that I am proud of myself for!
41. Like your job? Yes?
42. Broccoli? I could eat broccoli all the time. I really want some now...
43. What was your favorite vacation? New York!
44. Last person you went out to dinner with? Umm... my friends for my birthday last week
45. What are you listening to right now? Nothing
46. What is your favorite color? Blue/Green/Pink
47. How many tattoos do you have? 1 on my back
48. How many are you tagging for this quiz? I'm going to be lazy...
49. What time did you finish this quiz? 23.57
50. Coffee drinker? Noooo

I just remembered how when MySpace was all that these sorta things used to get filled in and bulletin posted all the time! Ha, I'd totally forgotten that.

Whitby is a place in England which is SO cute. My friend calls it Rainby though cos it always rains but I wanna live there. We go every November for a long weekend...I love it...

So like I say I am being lazy, I am tagging you all because I need my sleep! Let me know if you do it so I can read your answers!

After much deliberation and many, many attempts, I uploaded a you tube video!

If you are part of you tube please subscribe to my videos (if you like them, you obviously don't have to if you don't like them!!) and the favour will be returned.

You may have noticed that recently I have begun to personalise this blog a bit more, I have added my profile picture up, I posted some pictures in my last post and I also (if you read in reader you won't have seen) have added my Twitter. You are all quite welcome to add me on there also - I'm worringley getting pretty obsessed with it!!

After doing this for so long anonymous I'm quite excited about the route this blog is taking and how it is leading me to meet new people, quite literally now as well with these blogger events and meeting girls that live near me which is great, and you tube is the next step :)

I just want to thank everyone that subscribes to this blog and takes the time to comment, I do try and comment back most of the time and I do keep up with all your blogs, even if it takes me a while!

It is payday this week and I am going to write some lists and buy some things this weekend for a contest on this blog when I reach 200 subscribers. I don't just read make up blogs so I am going to try and do bits and pieces, make up and non make up bits. I have some things from The Body Shop also that I will be giving away in this contest; I already owned one of the gorgeous eyeliners and we were also given eleven, yes eleven, lipsticks in various shades. Some of these are way too dark so once me and my mum have scavenged what we want the rest are yours people! So if you lurk around on here get following and who knows, you may win a little prize. :)

I keep thinking it is Friday tomorrow, it is SO annoying!! It is Thursday though and I am join Slimming World. I have been just piling on the pounds recently which I am sure you can tell from watching that video so I am going to sign up tomorrow. Slimming World is my favourite diet class and I am hoping I can lose some weight now. I am getting inspired by a lot of the other bloggers at the moment and am hoping to buy a Wii & a Wii Fit this month, or at least a Wii this month and the Wii Fit next. I also do have the Charlie Brooks (Janine from Eastenders) and Eric Prydz (Remember the Call on Me song a while ago? Yup, those dancers) workout video and I'm hoping to do them.

Wish me luck!

  • Nikki at CocoBella is holding a great giveaway on her blog so please click and have a look. The polish in the giveaway looks amazing!
  • I'm such a rubbish blogger that I have been meaning to post about this for a while. Du Wop recently released a Twilight version of their Lip Venom.

The link to their site is here and the blurb:

Be transformed. Let the alchemy transcend.

Twilight Venom is not your typical DuWop venom. Instead of a gloss, Twilight Venom is a shimmering crimson lip stain suspended in a venom-laced liquid lip conditioner with a super potent bite (watch out!), and contains argan, avocado, olive oils and vitamin E.

This product should be shaken before use to represent the blending of the human and vampire worlds and applied repeatedly until lips are plumped, revitalized and the desired intensity of color has been reached.

As soon as I saw it I wanted it but wasn't sure if it was available in the UK. The lovely Neisha offered to send me one and it arrived a few weeks ago but I have forgotten to blog about it. The card I received from Neisha was so cute:

I am so happy and thrilled that someone was kind enough to send me this. I haven't had chance to use it yet - truth be told I am scared!! I hear that Lip Venom is a VERY tingly feeling on the lips when you apply it. I opened it the other day and as I closed it I got some of the residue on my fingers - hardly any - so I just rubbed it on my lips and damn, it stung like a bitch!!! Neisha I have not sent anything in return yet but I get paid on Friday and I will be sending you a little something by way of thanks.

  • I also will be buying some little gifts when I get paid - I will hold a giveaway at 200 followers so I will be sorting out my gifts and what I want to give away shortly. I am thinking of a Sleek palette for definite so what I may do re this is wait until the winner is announced and then I can get the one they want, I see no point in just buying a random one. Or I might buy two and then let winner pick and give the second to the runner up - I don't know yet!
  • I am thinking of beginning to do You Tube videos, would any of you watch if I did?

The Body Shop Beauty Blogger Event

So Thursday was The Body Shop Beauty Bloggers Event at Sketch in London. I had such a good time. When I got the invite I turned it down at first as I was a bit scared but I'm so glad I decided to go and now I am getting excited for the next one, the Maybelline Event again in London in September *big cheesy smile*

I travelled down from Leeds with Kelly and Victoria who I was pretty scared to meet just because I've never met anyone before from Blogger or anything but they were so lovely. We couldn't sit together on the way down but managed to on the way back and it was seriously the funniest journey home, we were sounding like 13 year olds drooling over Zac Effron and Robert Pattinson/Taylor Lautner (Don't worry Natalie I kept our side up for Jake!!).

Anyway, back to the event: I don't really want to whitter on about too much because I know so many of the other girls have already blogged about it and I don't want to be boring. I had a fantastic time and want to thank Headstream, especially Natalie, for arranging everything and supplying seemingly endless champagne and lovely little sandwiches :)

The Body Shop are well known for their campaigns against various things and raising money for different charities, three of the most recent being the Staying Alive Foundation, Women's Aid and Children on the Edge.

Their latest project is helping ECPAT. Taken from the site:

We need you to lend a hand helping us to protect the innocence of youngsters around the world. Human Trafficking is now the third largest and fastest growing criminal industry worldwide and it's thought that over 1.8 million children are exploited in the global commercial sex trade every year, though this figure is thought to be much higher due to the underground dealings of the traffickers.

I must admit I had no idea the figures were this high so I was a bit shocked to hear about this. The product released supporting this cause is Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream.

As with the other products the way this works is that a certain amount of each one purchased goes to support the charity. This product costs £5.00 and that is for a 75ml tube. From that, a massive £3.45 goes to support ECPAT who are actively working to stop the trafficking and sexual explotation of children and young people in the UK and around the world. For more informaiton of ECPAT click the name in this text. I actually really like the smell of this hand cream. According to the website, it has a sparkling green fragrance with fresh citrus aspects in the top, leading to an elegant floral heart on a warm amber background. It sinks straight into the skin and doesn't feel greasy, just leaves you with lovely soft hands. I would recommend this and am going to be keeping this in my handbag, so when I run out I will be repurchasing.

We were given a little preview of some products which haven't yet hit the shelves - Nutriganics Skin Care. The ingrediants used in this range are completely organic but I can't remember when she said the products were going to be available!

Chase Aston, the make up artist, was also there and showed us two looks using The Body Shops new Autumn Trend Make Up, Precious Pearlescents. The make up is a bit similar to the MSF Mac stuff released earlier this year. I love the blush and the eyeliners (which I wrote about on an earlier post as I got one free with In Style Magazine). Chase made over Laura from Laura's Bloggy Blog and also showed us a 80's look on a model. I really enjoyed watching these make overs and made a mental note to try out a few of the things he was doing. I wanted to try a few things out this weekend but I have been really lazy. I don't know, if I'm not going anywhere I can't see the point in gettig dressed in anything other than a tee and leggings and because I have myglasses on I don't try any make up out!

After the make overs we were split into two groups. While one group went to the nearest shop to have a look at the products we learnt about The Body Shop's new perfume. Love Etc. This was pretty intersting as we heard from the two ladies who designed this fragerance and they told us in detail what went into making it; we smelt the top notes, the heart notes and the base notes (the top notes were my favourite!) and then the new perfume. This isn't yet on the website, I'm not sure when it is released. Top tip that I never knew: Don't rub your wrists together after spraying perfume on them as it ruins the smell! (Even though I made a mental note to not do this, I jsut did it testing the perfume. Duh!) We went on our trip of the store then, and I also learnt that The Body Shop gives out free little sample pots for you to try before you buy. I took a sample of the Pink Grapefruit Body Lotion. I LOVE the Pink Grapefuit range!

After that it was back to Sketch for more champagne and some pictures!

The beautiful Nicola!

Daisy, Me and Nicola
The amazing toilets at Sketch!

Aw, group pic!

We were given a fab bag full of goodies - this is just a rubbishy piccie I took on the train home:

As you can see I received the Vitamin E Skincare Range - the Hydrating Toner, the Cream Cleanser, the Moisture Lotion SPF 15, the Gentle Facial Wash and the Sink In Moisture Mask. I am quite pleased to have these as I don't actual have much of a skincare routine at the moment. I will be letting you know how I get on with these. We also recieved the hand cream and perfume as mentioned above. We were given the new Autumn Trend make up collection, the two eyeshadows in Moonlight Lustre and Sundown Glow, and the two blushers in Warm Sunset and Cool Dusk. I will be doing swatches of these when I get chance to use them. Also in our bags were all five of the eyeliner pencils which I am so excited about using, these colours are amazing, and eleven lipsticks! It was a fantastic freebies bag! Also we were given the 'Green is not a colour, it's a state of mind' bag supporting the Children on the Edge campaign, seen below sported by Ashley Greene... I am going to pretend I am a vampire now when I use it :)

Lastly we were all given one of these cards. If you shop at The Body Shop you will know about these; they cost £5 and the perks are found here. It is worth buying one if you shop there, I used to have one years back and I don't know where it went so I am glad to get a new one!

After the event a few of us went to Pizza Express for food and others went shopping. I was so tired the thought of the train home was exhausting!

The final piccie was taken by a man sat next to us on the train home :)

I didn't mean this post to be so long!!

MUST SEE films and birthday happenings

I am a total GEEK. I actually have nothing planned but blogging this weekend. And I am perfectly happy with that! How sad am I! I have so many of your blogs to read so don't think I'm ignoring you if I haven't commented as much as I usually do, I just haven't been around to even read them lately. As a lot of you will be aware Thursday was The Body Shop Beauty Bloggers Event and I will be doing a small blog on that tomorrow. I actually just spent ages writing one out but couldn't be bothered with the picture taking so I will do it tomorrow at some point!

But right now I wanted to mention the three outings to the cinema this past few weeks. When I was in London a couple of weeks ago visiting a friend (I still haven't done a post about that, I will soon) we went to see...The Proposal. Trailer time guys:

OMG, this film is so funny. I love Sandra Bullock anyways and I'm sorry but I never understood the fitness of Ryan Renolds before - KLaw: I get it. He is FIT!! There were plenty of guys watching it too and I can't wait until this comes out on DVD to buy it, it's brilliant :) How funny is the singing scene? I wanted to put a clip in but I could only find this one and it's a bit rubbish quality but you can stil see what I mean.

As I mentioned it was my birthday on Tuesday, yay, and I don't have a circle of friends as such, different ones, and as a result my birthday is always dragged out over a few days at least which is the way it should be I think!! So on the Sunday before my birthday me and my friend Lauren (helloooo, please will you sort your profile out so you can comment and say hi back to me *wave* :D) were planning on going to Nandos but my mummy did a lil bit of food on instead, so we had that and some birthday cake and then went to see The Hangover. I have been wanting to see this for AGES and we went because I'm sure it must be almost done at the cinema now.

I can't tell you how funny this was! I mean I'm pretty sure most of you have seen it already but if not really, rush and see this before it finishes. Not only is it hilarious, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha are fit. I love Justin Bartha, he is in National Treasure, does anyone else like those? They are in my top five fave films. he is so funny in them.

On my actual birthday guess what I did? Oh! I went to the cinema. I went to see The Ugly Truth this time and you all know what I am going to say: to go and see it, that it is funny, that Katherine Heigl is beautiful and that Gerard Butler is sexy:

Honestly I want to go back and see these films again in one sitting, they are amazing. SO if you haven't seen them have a gander!

My friends mum baked me 23 little cakes which was SO cute!

She decorated them all individually and I took pics of two, this one which was a Juicy bag and also one with little Mac brushes on but the pic for that is on my phone so I'll have to post that later.

Hope you enjoyed reading this, let me know if you have seen the films!

Polished Up

Thank you for all your lovely birthday messages yesterday! I'll be back with pictures tomorrow or at the weekend. Who's going to The Body Shop event in London tomorrow? I'll be seeing you there, let me know!

Let me begin by saying: I'm not one of those girly girls who enjoys pampering, face masks, spending time styling my hair or painting my nails, all that jazz. My nails can stay chipped for ages (despicable) my toe nails currently have nothing on them (disgusting) and my hair is usually either straightened or tied in a high messy look pony, I think I'm just lazy. I just have no interest in it. Of course I have always bought the odd this and that and used it a few times then just put it back and forgot about it but I was actually really shocked to count my nail polish collection and find 44 polishes. 44 is a lot for someone who doesn't care about nails. Yesterday I got looking at loads of nail blogs actually and I don't know if I've mentioned this before but long nails make me cringe, and long nails without polish actually make my neck go all funny and I feel like being sick! So loads of blogs were making me feel funny last night. Anyway I wanted to do this last week but thought I would wait until my Nails Inc ones arrived to complete it! Here is my collection...

Opia is the cheap make up range that Primark house. Most bits are only about £1 each and I did have quite a few bits but I threw them out about two weeks ago because I think most of it is crap, I'm not complaining, I know it can't be that good for £1! These are the nail varnishes I have picked up from there. They don't have names on the bottles, just batches, the purpley colour is batch PS 847. I've used this a few times and it is actually quite nice but you do need to put a lot of coats on. The other two are smaller and came in the same batch packet - PS 1066. I have used the darker one but not the light one, I actually really like this one, I like the bottle too its really cute :)

I have had these for ages actually. How long do you keep nail varnishes for? I have had it for years but only used it a few times. I do like it it just takes a few coats and the consistency is really sticky and gloopy (its always been like this, not because its so old!) and I swore I wouldn't buy any more Bourjois polishes. But I forgot about that and picked up the other one. I don't really like this, again it needs so many coats to look even there. [Orange, 69] [Rose Show, 33]

The orange (or Tropical Island, as its called) is the one I got free the other month and I haven't yet used this, but the pink one (Jelly Crush) is one of my most used out of my collection. You can see from the picture the the line is just under the 17, I really like this colour its just a very simple every day pink. The orange is much darker than the photo IRL, think it is the room I took the pics in.

Miss Sporty

I needed a silver polish desperatly and Miss Sporty had a 3 for 2 on (or some kind of offer) so I picked these two. I picked the blue as I wanted a nice light one but I haven't actually used it yet, and the orange I thought would look great against a tan. But I forgot to wear it when I had a tan so I guess I'll have to wait!!

L'Oreal Paris

Aw these are ancient. The silver is almost gone and one of the ones I wear a lot. Its from the Chrome Shine range and is number 342 I think. It says 342 on the lid but under the bottle says 21 so... It is a gorgeous silver colour and I actually want to put it on now! The second Chrome Shine I have is a deep shiny pink and I haven't worn it for absolutley ages now. It is 350 on the lid and 18 underneath. The LA Collection Crystals I found to be an awful polish. I think because of all the glitter it it really thick to put on and its one of those that just feels awful when its on. I have no idea if these are still availble but if so and you want to try it out its number 204. But I wouldn't recommend it.

Virgin Vie, Ruby Taffeta ~ This is a gorgeous deep pink and has been almost used up. It's pretty good chip resistant too.

No 7 Stay Perfect, Pink Grapefruit ~ I was given this in a No 7 gift set one Christmas. It's hardly been worn but I love the name of it! I can never decide if it is a pinky colour or a more corally one...

Lime Green ~ I picked this up for about 2 euros on holiday in May, just because I liked the colour. Not so much when it is on, but its actually not too bad - I will wear it again, I do think it is more of a holiday colour though!

Maybelline Colorama, 48, Honey Crystals ~ I bought this to go on my toes when I was wearing gold sandals. It's got quite a bit missing but every time I wear it I seem to come across a man who says its the worst polish ever! I don't think it's that bad!

Avon Sheer Pink ~ I actually really like this, either on its own or over the top of a darker colour. It's a very light pink with tiny flecks of glitter in. I love it over a black polish.

Barry M

Barry M is my second favourite brand for polishes, first for colours. If you are looking for any colour Barry M are probably the brand that will have that exact colour. I have to restrain myself from buying more each time I go in - I really want a new dark green one and a red glittery one, I'm not sure if the name is something to do with Dorothy and her red shoes or if it just really reminds me of that. I have eight, and from left to right the colours are: 216, 47, 293, 284, 272, 296, 279 and 119. The black and grey (47 and 293) are brilliant in late Autumn, I love the grey. The emerald green one is my absolute favourite I LOVE it, the colour is amazing - buy this! I didn't really like the end one when I applied it as I found it really streaky and it looked awful.

Nails Inc

Nails Inc are my favourite polishes at the moment. OK, I will admit I haven't actually bought any of these, they are all freebies but I think I need to purchase some. I love the bottles, the names, the colours, the application and the finished look. I can't pick my favourite because I think they all look amazing, although I can't wait to try the first one, my mum is wearing it at the moment and it looks brilliant.

China Glaze

I do quite like these polishes. I picked them up from Sallys a few months ago and have had a chance to wear them all now. The blue is very similiar to the Opia blue pictured at the top but I do like it. I didn't really like the pink - I like strong pinks, not light ones that don't hardly show up. The red one I absolutley adore! I wore it about two weeks ago and I love it - it's Cherry Crystal if anyone is interested. It's such a lovely deep red, it will be perfect in Winter.

Rimmel is another range that I have always looked at the polishes over the years. From left to right, the colours are 809, Blue Me Away, 590, Atlantic, 872, Climax, 811, Pulsating, 622, Star Kissed, 840, Peaches and Cream, 366, Beige and 431, Daisy Chain. The only ones I really didn't like too much was the Blue Me Away, I think the texture of it was awful and to be honest it was a bit too dark for me. The Atlantic has been rebought and rebought, as has the Pulsating, which I love. The Beige and Daisy Chain ones are brilliant everyday colours, as is the Peaches & Cream and Star Kissed. I love Climax but again, when I wear it loads of people tell me it's horrible! I like it!

I hope you didn't get too bored reading that...

Happy Birthday to Meeeeeee :)

It's my birthday today so I'm not in work today which is always good!

I went to see The Vagina Monologues last night at Leeds Grand Theatre and for a pizza with friends. Nikki Sanderson (Candice from Corrie) was really good; they all were, Lesley Jospeh wasn't there though and I'm not sure who it was filling in for her! She was really funny though.

I'm going shopping for a bit later (on what money I do not know, I have NONE) then to see The Ugly Truth.

I might post some piccies of my presents later.

Garnier Pure Active

I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had been sent the above Pure Active range from Garnier. So many people have been sent these products and I don't want to just do another review like everyone else so I'm just going to mention my two favourite products.

Garnier Pure Active is a new generation of concentrated formulae tested on spot-prone skin. Designed to protect against the appearance of spots and marks and leave skin looking and feeling purified from day 1!

Garnier Pure Active Moisturiser

From the No.1 medicated moisturiser brand
It's a NEW and effective moisturiser that helps fights spots before they appear. Moreover, it improves the skin's appearance by hydrating it and visibly reducing shine. Enriched with Salicylic Acid, it helps to purify and mattify skin to protect against spots even before they appear.

I really like this moisturiser. When I first received this package I used the Deep Pore Wash, the Purifying Toner and this Moisturiser and one of them broke my skin out. I'm not prone to spots at all and, touch wood, I have pretty good skin. I only ever get the odd spot and I don't have greasy skin or anything so I'm pretty lucky. After using these when I woke up I had the BIGGEST spot collection ever on my face! There were about three or four huge spots right on my cheek and I was fuming! I had to use the spot roll on (see below) and I decided to give it a miss for a while. I have since used the Deep Pore Wash a few times and no breakout has occurred, and I use the moisturiser daily so I wonder if it was the Purifying Toner. I love the smell of this moisturiser, it smells so fresh and clean! I would definitely re buy this again. I think it is around £4.49.

Garnier Pure Spot Roll On

76% of people tested say it had an instant drying effect
The new roll-on revolutionary roller-ball is designed to immediately soothe and cool skin. The easy-to-use targeted application provides instant drying action and helps protect against spots on the go.

I'm going to be controversial here because I am yet to see a review of the Garnier products that is sticking up for this one. The majority of people say it is a bit unhygenic, being a roll on ball etc, the general gist being that when you roll the ball over your spot the next time you use it the germs from the first spot etc will be rolled over the new area. I do understand all of this but a part of me thinks that if it was really that bad for us Garnier wouldn't have produced it... I think I'm on my own in this part. The top of the ball does pop off and thus can be cleaned after each time you use it which is a bit of faffing around and if I am going to be entirely honest I haven't done that yet. My diet has been appalling recently and I have been putting weight on and my skin hasn't been as good as usual and I have had spots appear. I have used this ball over them and each time, come the next day the spot has been gone. I haven't noticed any repercussions of then using the roll on again, just the same results. I am really pleased with this product!! I think this retails for around £5.59.

I am getting really excited for New Moon!

Here is the trailer, just because:

The lovely Feet in the Earth led me to these clips of Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson on Tyra Banks this week and it got me all worked up again!

Over the past few weeks I have spotted these on Perez. This necklace by Gina Nigrelli. What do you think of it?

This chocolate, which is apparently available in Blockbuster Movies...I can't wait to try some of this!!

Cafepress do some great Twilight merchandise and I am so desperate to buy some. As there are a lot of pics on here already I couldn't post everything I wanted but here is some of the Team Jacob stuff that has caught my eye this afternoon! (I will most likely post again with the other bits I want!) If I had a baby, it would be wearing this without a doubt. I'd probably buy it in different colours and make it live in them. It's ace.

And here are some HOT pictures for you fellow Twilight lovers. You're welcome. :)
